Bill O’Reilly Happy To See Media Acknowledging Border Crisis

While O’Reilly praises the left-wing media in one segment, he surprisingly criticizes members of the Conservative media in another, specifically Candace Owens.

Bill O’Reilly rarely has positive things to say about what he calls “the left wing media” but that changed on Tuesday.  In addressing the situation on the United States’ Southern border, O’Reilly says it is so bad that even left-wing media is starting to take notice.

“The liberal media supported Joe Biden’s presidential campaign 100 percent, but now because the border situation is dangerous to them and the progressive movement, they have started to take notice,” O’Reilly said on Tuesday night’s edition of No Spin News.

O’Reilly then plays a clip of Meet The Press, where commentator Chuck Todd calls the situation a “Crisis for the Biden administration with no easy way out.”

“Now I don’t have any use for Chuck Todd, but he just told you the truth,” O’Reilly said. “By doing so, Mr. Todd was roundly scorched on social media by the Progressive Left who doesn’t want you to know anything. The Biden administration will tell you it’s a challenge and that the border is closed to all but the most venerable young children. But that’s a lie. If the borders are closed, how come ICE is spending 87 million dollars of taxpayer money to put immigrants up in hotel rooms or to fly them all around the country? I’m just trying to be an honest broker of information here and tell you the facts.”

O’Reilly adds that since the Biden administration can’t spin the facts to the media in a positive way, they just ignore them and most media members are too lazy to call their hand on it, but that is starting to change.

“We are being deceived, but I honestly don’t think most Americans are buying it and even the left-wing media is starting to ask tough questions.”

While O’Reilly praises the left-wing media in one segment, he surprisingly criticizes members of the Conservative media in another, specifically Candace Owens.

“Recently President Biden fell down the steps of Air Force One and a lot of people were happy he fell down. That was wrong and it should never happen. I have no use for President Biden’s policies. I think they will and have hurt the country. But I don’t want him to be mocked. That’s just part of the meanness of the media in America.”

O’Reilly points to Owens, conservative host of the Candace Owens Show, and her March 19th tweet about President Biden having dementia to prove his point.

“That’s not necessary Ms. Owens,” O’Reilly said. “You don’t know that Joe Biden has dementia. You are not a doctor. To do that is, I don’t know, you fill in the blank. I’m at a loss for words. I will say that anybody who thinks the President falling is a good thing needs, to take a step back and take a look at yourself.”

Benztown is announcing plans for a webinar featuring Dr. Ed Cohen and Mike McVay centered around utilizing data to increase listening credits in the Nielsen radio ratings.

Unlocking Radio Secrets: Every Minute Matters; Improving Your Ratings will be held on Thursday, June 27th at 1 PM ET. In the webinar, Benztown will showcase its SpotGPS tool for radio programmers.

The software “is a powerful tool … that transforms airplay data into powerful and actionable commercial content analysis in a compelling, visual, and intuitive form that is a game-changer for radio stations,” according to the company, who designed it specifically for PPM markets.

“In today’s radio environment where every quarter-hour matters, there are quarter-hours hidden everywhere. Some radio stations know where they are and how to take advantage of them. Knowing where they are illuminates an otherwise dark room,” the company said of the webinar. “Some radio stations accept the darkness and blame ratings methodology. The smart ones live in the light.”

The upcoming webinar is free to those wishing to attend. To register, click here.

Remote News Service has added three new markets to its growing list of affiliates.

The news network will now provide services to WXJB-FM near Tampa, WIRY-FM in Plattsburgh, New York, and to Oklahoma City stations owned by Champling Broadcasting — which includes Freedom 96.9.

“I’m so pleased that all of our team’s hard work is paying off. Happy clients, make us super happy, and really proud,” Remote News Service owner Lesley Lotto said.

“The addition of Remote News Service has been a big boost to our local news,” stated WXJB GM Barbara Manuel. “It has dramatically raised the profile of our talk station. We are already out selling it!”

“I would highly recommend Remote News Service if you are considering an outside source to cover your local news. Our anchor has been very responsive and professional,” added WIRY co-owner Joey Trombly. “We transitioned to this service and it was seamless. We are getting positive feedback in our marketplace since we made this change”.
