After launching a new morning show last October with Talk Radio 98.3 WLAC in Nashville, Michael DelGiorno continues to add new stations, with five more set to join in the coming weeks.

In a post to social media, DelGiorno announced he’ll be heard on 550 KFYI in Phoenix beginning at the end of the month. Additionally, WILM (Wilmington, DE), WDOV (Dover, DE), WJDY (Salisbury, MD), and WGST (Macon, GA) will add his program.

At its launch, Your Morning Show with Michael DelGiorno was heard on iHeartMedia stations in Nashville, and also in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, where he spent time earlier in his career before moving to Music City.

In recent months, the program has been added to other iHeartMedia-owned stations like Impact Radio 1260 WHNZ in Tampa, 600 WREC in Memphis, 1060 WKMQ in Tupelo, 570 WKBN in Youngstown, and 640 WHLO in Akron.

The program airs live from 6-9 AM ET.

840 WHAS anchor/reporter Hayley Hansen-Kilkelly has announced she is departing the Louisville news/talk station to join WBBM in Chicago in a similar role.

Hansen-Kilkelly joined the iHeartMedia-owned station in 2016 after previous stops in Lexington and as an Associate Producer at WGN Radio.

“After eight glorious years, I’m leaving (840 WHAS) for new adventures closer to home,” Hansen-Kilkelly wrote in a post to social media.

“I’m moving to WBBM Radio in Chicago,” she subsequently told the station’s afternoon host Terry Meiners in her last appearance on the station. “I’ll be an anchor/reporter there. I’ll be doing the same things I do here there but in my city. In Chicago. It’s pretty exciting.”

The Brian Kilmeade Show has seen growth in recent months, with several new stations carrying the program. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a constant uphill climb for the Fox News host.

Many nationally syndicated shows air on stations that are also owned by the syndicators themselves, like Premiere Networks and Westwood One. Kilmeade told 77 WABC’s Sid Rosenberg that his show — which is distributed by Fox News Radio — doesn’t have the same luxury.

“We don’t own any stations. Fox doesn’t have any leverage, just like you guys. If people are going to pick up our show syndicated they’re going to pick it up on the quality of the show,” said Kilmeade, whose show airs on WABC in New York.

“A lot of that with these syndicated companies is ‘Oh, yeah. This is our guy. This is our woman, we’ll put them on.’ That’s kind of the way radio works.”

Brian Kilmeade also told Rosenberg his show is on the verge of being added in a “major city” in Texas, and is also nearing a deal to be heard locally on a station in a “major city” in Connecticut, on top of recently being added by WRVA in Virginia.
