A few days ago, following the fallout from the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, SiriusXM radio host Howard Stern pondered possibly running for president.

If Stern is serious about a presidential run, he revealed that he has a running mate in Hollywood actor Bradley Cooper. According to Stern, he received a warm text from Cooper, who reacted to his remarks about a presidential run.

The radio host then took the chance to present the job of vice president to Cooper, sharing the interaction on Wednesday’s edition of “The Howard Stern Show.”

“This guy is gonna bring in the female vote like you wouldn’t believe,” Stern said, per Huff Post. When presented with the offer, the SiriusXM host noted that the actor didn’t hesitate, saying, “Done.”

Co-host Robin Quivers noted that former President Ronald Reagan, a former actor, played a role that saw him act with a chimp in the “Bedtime for Bonzo” movie.

“Now we’re gonna have a guy who’s played a raccoon,” the co-host said, referring to Cooper’s voicing of Rocket in “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Stern proposed the perfect campaign slogan: “He’s a real patriot and a great raccoon.”

On Thursday, June 27th, CNN will air a 90-minute debate between former President Donald Trump (R) and President Joe Biden (D). Salem Radio Network will have extensive coverage surrounding the event, including appearances by Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher, and Sebastian Gorka.

A two-hour pre-debate special will feature Salem hosts previewing the debate live from Atlanta from 7-9 PM ET. Hewitt, Gallagher, and Gorka will be joined by the company’s White House correspondent Greg Clugston, who will be on-site at the CNN studios.

The debate takes place from 9-10:30 PM ET. CNN has not allowed the radio network to broadcast the debate, so Salem will return to regularly scheduled programming. After the debate ends at 10:30, it will be followed by a 30-minute wrap-up show hosted by Gallagher.

In addition to airing on the Salem Radio Network, all coverage will also be simulcast on the Salem News Channel.

In a post to social media, Bryant alluded to his departure, stating “I covet your prayers as my circumstances change.”

WGAU featured a re-air of yesterday’s edition of The Erick Erickson Show in morning drive Wednesday.

A report from RadioInsight alleges Bryant is the first public name in a round of layoffs affecting Cox Media Group. As of publication, no other names have been revealed as departing the Atlanta-based radio group.

Ben Shapiro welcomed Dan Bongino to his Sunday Special episode of his Daily Wire program. While the conversation has more than 185,000 views on YouTube, the entire conversation isn’t on the platform.

“Unfortunately, we’ve had to edit out some important information because big tech won’t let us say that sort of thing,” Shapiro said as he introduced the conversation on YouTube. He then urged viewers to subscribe to DailyWire+ to ensure they received the entire conversation as intended.

The message did not accompany the podcast version of the discussion on Apple Podcasts.

Daily Wire has not been shy about its issues with YouTube in recent months. After announcing it planned to depart the platform to put its video projects exclusively on X, it reversed course and stayed on the Google-owned site. However, former host Candace Owens was suspended by the platform in September of last year. CEO Jeremy Boreing revealed last year that YouTube had lobbied 200 content violations on its hosts surrounding topics like the 2020 election and the COVID-19 vaccine.

Bongino had his own issues with YouTube in the past. Those problems led him to move his live video to Rumble, where he is now one of the platform’s largest shareholders.
