Newsmax TV host Sean Spicer appeared on 77 WABC’s “Bernie & Sid” Tuesday with Sid Rosenberg.

Spicer said the reaction from the mainstream media to the college loan forgiveness story illustrates a “complicit” press afraid to ask tough questions.

“For a year, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi both said that Biden couldn’t get rid of student loans by executive order because he didn’t have the authority.”

Spicer said a year later, Biden decided to forgive millions of dollars in debt, and not one media organization asked the most obvious question.

“No one asked what changed,” he said. “Biden himself said he didn’t have the authority to do this, Speaker Pelosi said he didn’t have the authority to do this and suddenly he goes and does it.”

Spicer said the media’s reaction to this story is indicative of today’s world where elected officials go unchecked while spending taxpayer money with impunity.

“You’re right, I did not hear anyone [in the media] bring that up. By the way, you must be kicking yourself in the ass because you didn’t go to Harvard because you could’ve gone for free,” Rosenberg quipped.
