Ari Melber Refers to Fox News as ‘MAGA Snowflake Bubble’

The MSNBC host had a guest to discuss the topic, but before he tossed it over to the attorney and former FBI agent Asha Rangappa, Melber took a shot at the network.

MSNBC host Ari Melber went after Fox News and its contributor Lara Trump, appearing on the network criticizing a lawsuit by the New York attorney general against her family’s company.

On Wednesday, New York AG Letitia James publicized a $250 million suit against the Trump Organization, accusing them of overinflating assets to get low-interest loans.

The MSNBC host had a guest to discuss the topic, but before he tossed it over to the attorney and former FBI agent Asha Rangappa, Melber took a shot at the network.

Melber referred to Fox News (h/t Mediaite) as a “MAGA snowflake bubble where you’re not going to be triggered. You’re not going to be pressed and shout out to anyone who needs a bubble. You know you can live in a snowflake bubble if you want.”

Neither side is immune to these types of criticisms when having people of Trump’s status where a rival network believes that the host isn’t asking the tough questions.

Fox News has done this in the past when members of the Biden administration go on CNN or MSNBC.

Earlier this month, FOX Nation debuted the first in-depth project hosted by Sean Hannity for the streaming platform. That program has gotten off to a fast start.

Outlaws & Lawmen: The West has been the top-performing show on the service since its May 8th debut. The four-part series focuses on the true stories of Wild West outlaws and law enforcement officials.

After the release of its first two episodes, the Hannity-led program is the best-performing show at FOX Nation since Liberty or Death: Boston Tea Party, which was hosted by Hollywood star Rob Lowe for the service, when comparing unique viewing devices.

The program features the myths, legends, and truth about Wild West outlaws like Butch Cassidy, Bass Reeves, and Billy The Kid, among others.

“As our viewers know, I am a strong supporter of our men and women in law enforcement and I look forward to spotlighting a period of time that is pivotal in their origin,” Hannity while announcing the debut of the series.

Over the weekend, CNN political commentator Alice Stewart died unexpectedly at the age of 58.

Northern Virginia law enforcement officers told the network that Stewart was found outdoors in a neighborhood Saturday morning after suffering an apparent medical event.

“Alice was a very dear friend and colleague to all of us at CNN,” network CEO Mark Thompson told staffers in an email. “A political veteran and an Emmy Award-winning journalist who brought an incomparable spark to CNN’s coverage, known across our bureaus not only for her political savvy, but for her unwavering kindness. Our hearts are heavy as we mourn such an extraordinary loss.”

Since joining the network in 2016, Stewart had served as a political commentator, claiming her role was to be a “conservative voice yet an independent thinker.” Before her time at the cable network, she worked on campaigns for Republican politicians like Ted Cruz and Mike Huckabee.

Many of her current and former colleagues took to social media to share tributes honoring her memory after her death was announced.
