Roland Martin Fires Back at Kayleigh McEnany Over ‘Lap Dog’ Comments

“You, right now, are a fake journalist, sitting in a host’s chair on Fox News when you have no training for the job whatsoever. In fact, your entire network is a lap dog for Donald Trump.”

After Kayleigh McEnany called MSNBC contributor Roland Martin and host Tiffany Cross “lap dogs” for Joe Biden, Martin bit back on Roland Martin Unfiltered.

“First, Kayleigh says that Biden ‘lap dogs follow his lead’. Let me help you out, Kayleigh. I’ve never worked for Joe Biden,” Martin said on his digital show. “I’ve never worked for President Barack Obama. In fact, I’ve never worked for a politician. You, however, literally was a lap dog for Donald Trump. You literally lied to the American people on a regular basis. You, right now, are a fake journalist, sitting in a host’s chair on Fox News when you have no training for the job whatsoever. In fact, your entire network is a lap dog for Donald Trump. The suck up that takes place by Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Tucker Carlson and on and on, it’s unbelievable.

“There’s a reason your network is getting sued by Dominion, because of the lies y’all pushed during the voting and the election being rigged. There is no great evidence of a network being lap dogs for Donald Trump. You know why you’re a lap dog for Donald Trump? Your ratings went down after you properly called Arizona for Joe Biden. And what did your network do? Your network fired the guy who made the call. There is no great example, Kayleigh, of lap dogs than you, and Fox News.”

Martin continued by saying employing Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara, is further evidence of “lap dog” behavior. He then took issue with Fox News host Harris Faulkner saying she didn’t know what Martin does for a living, saying he has her phone number and she has is, and the pair went to the Apollo Theatre together. He pointed out he doesn’t work for MSNBC, like Faulkner insinuated, before saying she should do some “basic-ass research”.

Greg Gutfeld: Sunny Hostin Not Talented, ‘But An Expert in Calling People Racist’

“You forget that she’s also sexist.”

Commenting on other members of the media is a staple of Fox News’s late-night show Gutfeld! Wednesday night, host Greg Gutfeld took aim at Sunny Hosting of The View

Earlier in the week, Hostin said on the ABC daytime show that “white women, in particular, want to protect this patriarchy.” She suggested that it is a group that votes only to please their husbands.

“Take, that people who say she’s racist. You forget that she’s also sexist,” Gutfeld said on his show.

In his mind, there is a much simpler, less nefarious explanation. People tend to marry people with similar opinions and values.

Hostin used to be a regular presence on Fox News. Following an impressive legal career, she was part of a regular segment on The O’Reilly Factor called “Is It Legal?”. The segment featured Sunny Hostin squaring off with Bill O’Reilly and Megyn Kelly discussing the legalities and implications of news of the day. She then moved to CNN. Hostin has been with ABC in a variety of roles since 2016.

None of that impresses Greg Gutfeld though. He told his audience that Hostin’s take on how white women vote is proof that there is not much to her.

“The bottom line, she managed to take a general observation that spouses of any stripe stick together and make it only about whites. And why? Because what else does she have? Nothing. She’s not funny or smart or interesting, but she’s an expert in calling people racist. So congrats on that.”

Greg Gutfeld: The Threat of the Smear Will Scare You Into Silence

“Gutfeld claimed that the mainstream actively wages war against men and masculinity, aiming to undermine and attack them.”

Recently, ESPN’s Samantha Ponder expressed support for athletes speaking out against biological men who are trying to compete against women in sports. During his late-night show Tuesday, Greg Gutfeld said some media pundits are furious over Ponder’s statements.

“What do they do with a woman speaking out against the bullying of women? They bully her, of course,” said Gutfeld. “Riding in on her broomstick is Nancy Armour, a ghastly sports columnist for USA Today, the official doormat for Americans staying at low-priced hotels.”

Armour stated, “Don’t be fooled by the people who screech about “fairness” to cloak their bigotry toward transgender girls and women, the transgender girls and women who have the audacity to want to play sports, in particular.”

Gutfeld claimed that the mainstream actively wages war against men and masculinity, aiming to undermine and attack them.

“Here’s the thought process, all men are evil, right up until the moment they decide that they’re actually women,” he said. “Then suddenly, their rights override everyone else’s rights, especially women who have been women the whole damn time.”

Gutfeld alleged that Armour engaged in defamation against Ponder, resulting in a lasting social stigma that will permanently shadow Ponder’s reputation.

“The threat of the smear will scare you into silence,” Gutfeld said. “Suddenly, all female athletes are defined as anti-trans. What happens when you’re labeled that? Just ask J.K.  Rowling, whose life was turned upside down by unhinged rabid activists.”

In early June 2020, J.K. Rowling, the author of the Harry Potter series, faced criticism for posting contentious tweets regarding the transgender community.

“Rather than debate, they (activists) denunciate, they smear, and when you assert the obvious that men and women are indeed different and placing bio men against women in sports will be unfair, they will call you a bigot.”

According to the NewYork Post, Lisa Ling, a former co-host of “The View,” has secured a position at CBS News following her departure from CNN. CBS announced on Wednesday that Ling, aged 49, will join them in the summer and be based in Los Angeles. Her role will involve covering in-depth stories for various shows, including “CBS Sunday Morning.”

CBS News co-president Neeraj Khemlani praised Ling’s interviewing skills, stating that she delivers authentic, human, and revealing interviews by immersing herself in communities and the subjects she covers.

“Lisa delivers some of the most authentic, human, and revealing interviews because of how she embeds with communities and the people she covers,” CBS News co-president Neeraj Khemlani said.

He emphasized that this approach allows her and CBS News to convey the pulse of the country and the world more experientially. Before joining CBS, Ling spent nine years at CNN, serving as the host and executive producer of “This Life with Lisa Ling.” The show delved into interracial families, sex trafficking, and artificial intelligence.

However, last November, the show and Lisa Ling’s time at CNN were terminated by the network’s new chief, Chris Licht, who had been assigned to implement extensive budget cuts.

“I can’t imagine a more suitable platform for my reporting style than CBS News, considering its long-standing commitment to exceptional news coverage and insightful storytelling,” said Ling.

Ling’s sister, journalist Laura Ling, gained nationwide recognition after she and Eugenie Lee were arrested while reporting in North Korea in 2009.

Recently, the network welcomed Natalie Morales, a former NBC News personality, who has made appearances on shows like “48 Hours,” “CBS Mornings,” and has also served as a co-host on “The Talk.” Additionally, CBS managed to secure Cecilia Vega, a former ABC News anchor, who made history as the first Latina correspondent on the renowned news magazine “60 Minutes.”
