WTOP News and PodcastOne are teaming up again as they announced the return of the “American Nightmare Series” podcast that will debut on Oct. 4 (h/t Radio Online).

“American Nightmare Series: Unknown Subject” is the series’ latest installment and concentrates on a man who terrorized women throughout the Washington D.C. area for nine years.

“We are proud to be able to bring another nail-biting season of American Nightmare to podcast listeners,” PodcastOne President Kit Gray said. “Season 3 will be another intense story with jaw-dropping details that cannot be heard elsewhere.

“WTOP and Paul Wagner have outdone themselves again and we cannot wait for true crime fans to dive into the mystery surrounding Unknown Subject, a case that haunted the D.C. area for decades.”

Furthermore, D.C. crime reporter Paul Wagner is returning as the host of season 3 for WTOP’s American Nightmare Series podcast.

“The murder of Christine Mirzayan in 1998 has haunted me for years,” Wagner said. “I knew about the DNA link with a series of horrible rapes, but investigators had gotten nowhere for years.

“So, when in 2019 police made an arrest I knew I had to tell the incredible story. How advances in science coupled with a curious cop with an unusual hobby finally tracked the suspect down. The Unknown Subject finally had a name.”

Chris Plante: Laughable for Chuck Todd to Say There Was Never Propaganda On Meet The Press

“There’s no propaganda from him, Meet The Press, or NBC News. They don’t stand for that stuff. He’s just another old Democrat.”

As Chuck Todd prepares to depart Meet The Press later this year, it seems unlikely WMAL host Chris Plante is sad to see him go.

During The Chris Plante Show, the host brought up several reasons why Todd — in his view — is misguided for stating that he, the show, and NBC News will never allow propaganda from either side to air on the program or network.

Plante described several cases that he believed showcased how that statement wasn’t true, alluding to the Steele Dossier as just one example. He then wondered aloud about the choice of Kristen Welker to be the one to succeed Todd.

“He’ll be replaced by a woman of color. Is she on the LGBTQ spectrum as well? Because if she’s not, why not?” questioned Plante. “Chunk (sic) actually says there’s no propaganda from him, Meet The Press, or NBC News. They don’t stand for that stuff.

“He’s just another old Democrat,” Plante continued. “He was a campaign guy for a Minnesota senator who was the most liberal member of the Senate at the time. Now his wife is a Democrat party apparatchik, who has her own company because her husband was the host of Meet The Press.”

Sid Rosenberg: No One in WABC History Has Come Close to My Ratings

“If you add up (Sean) Hannity and Mark Levin’s numbers with a bunch of others, they still don’t beat me.”

77 WABC morning host Sid Rosenberg has taken the station to new heights during his tenure in the morning timeslot. He isn’t shy about boasting about his success, either.

During his show Monday, Rosenberg shared that some of the great hosts in the station’s history hadn’t seen numbers like he’s producing.

“No disrespect to the giants, the legends — Bob Grant and Don Imus, who came before more, because this is a game of ratings — but none of those guys came close to what we’re doing on this show right now,” Rosenberg bragged. “In fact, if you add up (Sean) Hannity and Mark Levin’s numbers with a bunch of others, they still don’t beat me.”

He added that the secret to his success — which he has shared before — is his willingness to incorporate his personal life into his morning show’s content.

“I tell people all the time when I get stopped on the streets, they’re not like ‘I love what you said about (New York Mayor) Eric Adams’ or ‘I love what you said about Donald Trump today’, they say ‘How’s your wife doing? How are your kids doing? Are you feeling better?’ So there’s more personality that goes into the equation than just the topic of the day,” Rosenberg said.

“Which goes to show you…the real dynamic, the real greats, they did not get caught up in the news of the day. It was more personality driven. People love to hear about the wife, the son, what you did on the weekend — as much if not more — than the topics of the day.”
