Fox News Secures Top Spot as November’s Leading News Brand

This marks the 33rd straight month that FOX News Digital has led news brands in multiplatform minutes

According to Comscore, Fox News Digital was the top news brand in November, receiving the most multiplatform views and minutes.

This marks the 33rd straight month that Fox News Digital has led news brands in multiplatform minutes and the 14th consecutive month that it has been the leader in multiplatform views.

Fox News Digital closed out the month with 2.9 billion total multiplatform minutes, 1.7 billion total multiplatform views, and 89 million unique multiplatform visitors.

Additionally, the Fox News Mobile App had 5.8 million unique visitors in November, while the network was the top news brand with an average of 2.7 views per visit, up 11 percent YoY.

Emplifi reported that Fox News achieved 18.4 million total social interactions in November, making it the brand with the highest engagement on social media in the competitive set for the 111th consecutive month.

Fox News saw month-over-month gains across all platforms, driving 4.5 million interactions on Facebook, 11.9 million on Instagram, and 1.9 million on other media. Additionally, they secured 183 million video views on YouTube, according to Shareablee.

Greg Gutfeld Moves to Top of Cable News Ratings in February

In the 25-54 demographic, Gutfeld topped the cable news landscape with 325,000 viewers.

Greg Gutfeld has long billed himself as the King of Late-Night. Now, he can bill himself as the king of cable news after his showing in the February ratings.

Gutfeld! — the Fox News late-night program — finished as the highest-rated program in all of cable news in the second month of 2024, averaging 2.2 million viewers for the month, according to Nielsen Media Research. Additionally, in the 25-54 demographic, Gutfeld topped the cable news landscape with 325,000 viewers.

Fox News garnered the top 13 slots in the demo, with The Five, Jesse Watters Primetime, Hannity, and The Ingraham Angle rounding out the top five.

In the late-night ratings, Gutfeld! narrowly defeated The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which averaged 2.1 million viewers. Also, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon finished with 1.45 and 1.3 million viewers on average, during the month.

It is also worth noting that the Fox News program hosted by Greg Gutfeld now airs at 10 PM ET after the network’s shuffle following the high-profile departure of Tucker Carlson last year. The other late-night programs it is measured against all begin at 11:35 PM ET.

CPAC Poll Shows Newsmax Most Trusted Cable News Outlet Among Attendees

Those surveyed were asked a bevy of questions, including what was the best way to “combat woke elites”, as well as questions about which big tech CEO was “doing the most to undermine America.”

The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was held last week, and McLaughlin & Associates conducted a poll asking attendees which cable news channel they trusted most. Newsmax was the victor by a wide margin.

Of the nearly 1,500 attendees surveyed, 49% said Newsmax was the outlet they “trust the most.” 15% said Fox News was their most trusted channel. 29% of those in attendance said they did not trust a cable news outlet, with CNN and MSNBC each receiving 1% of support.

Those surveyed were asked a bevy of questions, including what was the best way to “combat woke elites”, as well as questions about which big tech CEO was “doing the most to undermine America”, with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg compiling 55% of the vote.

In total, 1,478 conservative attendees were polled, with the company utilizing a PIN system to ensure there were no multiple votes or outside voting to impact the results of the survey.

Nicolle Wallace Returns to MSNBC’s Deadline: White House

“It is so very, very, very good to be back with you. I have missed everyone.”

After spending time away from her MSNBC program for maternity leave, Deadline: White House anchor Nicolle Wallace returned to the anchor desk Monday.

“Well hello there everybody. It’s 4 o’clock in New York. I’ve missed saying that. It is so very, very, very good to be back with you. I have missed everyone,” Wallace said to begin Monday’s show.

Wallace and her husband welcomed a daughter via surrogate in November. In her place, Alicia Menendez anchored the program.

The former George W. Bush administration official began hosting the show in 2017. The program was expanded to two hours in 2020, and is one of the network’s highest-rated offerings.

On Friday, Wallace revealed she would make her return Monday, adding that she will start a new feature during her show entitled “American Autocracy”, which “is something the whole country should be grappling with, because that is certainly the head of the Republican party is running on this time,” she told Menendez.

Deadline: White House airs weekdays at 4:00 PM ET on MSNBC.
