Syndicated radio host Glenn Beck said some Fox News producers and anchors were upset when executives refused to allow them to use Devon Archer’s comments to Tucker Carlson that were broadcast on Twitter.
Beck discussed Tucker during an interview with Tucker Carlson’s biographer, Chadwick Moore.
Devon Archer, a former business partner and friend of Hunter Biden, was recently interviewed by Carlson two days after his appearance before the House Oversight Committee. Some commentators speculate that the news coverage of Hunter Biden’s testimony was overshadowed by former President Donald Trump’s third indictment the following day.
“(Fox News) also didn’t cover the interviews with all of the candidates, which I think was game-changing,” said Beck. “I was sitting at the anchor desk watching him on stage as we covered it at TheBlaze. Universally, it was game-changing, totally game-changing, and it was all Tucker.”
According to Glenn Beck, it’s possible that Fox News let Tucker go because of his strong religious beliefs. Beck also revealed that he was not allowed to talk about God on the network during his time there, as it made owner Rupert Murdoch uncomfortable.
“He’s going through a spiritual awakening unlike I’ve seen very often,” said Beck. “He’s reading the bible every day. He is praying about it every day. There’s no dogma behind it, he’s just going through an awakening.”
