Tucker Carlson is slated to host fellow former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly tonight for an extended interview that will drop alongside the second 2024 Republican Presidential debate. O’Reilly says that’s the entire point of the interview.
During his No Spin News program Tuesday night, O’Reilly shared that the interview should serve as an alternative to the the debate.
“Tucker Carlson interviewed me for close to an hour last night. And you can watch that interview at 9:00 PM ET. And it’s designed to compete with the Republican debate in Simi Valley, California, north of LA,” admitted O’Reilly. “So Carlson drops these interviews so people will have a choice. Whatever. It doesn’t matter to me. It’s a good interview, and I think you will like it.”
Both Bill O’Reilly and Carlson departed Fox News during less-than-ideal circumstances. O’Reilly was ousted in 2017 after allegations of sexual harassment. Carlson exited in April of this year. He contends his firing was connected to the network’s settlement of the defamation lawsuit brought forth by Dominion Voting Systems. However, both Fox News and Dominion have independently denied those accusations.
O’Reilly continued the discussion by saying Carlson was kind to have him on his program for nearly an hour to discuss his latest book Killing the Witches: The Horror of Salem, Massachusetts. However, the former Fox News hosts didn’t strictly discuss the book.
“The interview, of course, dealt with more than the book. It dealt with network and cable news. It dealt with the Biden administration, and it dealt with social things in America. But he was very interested in the demonic possession part of killing the witches, which is the modern part of the book.”
