Former President Donald Trump was convicted on all 34 felony charges he faced in a New York courtroom Thursday afternoon for falsifying business documents.
After initially claiming they were adjourning for the day, the jury revealed they had a verdict, returning to the courtroom just before 5:00 PM ET Thursday.
The judge presiding over the case set sentencing for Thursday, July 11th, just four days before he is set to be officially confirmed as the Republican nominee for the 2024 Presidential Election at the 2024 Republican National Convention.
Television cameras were not allowed in the courtroom, so cable news outlets were left to report on the verdicts on a charge-by-charge basis.
There was a wide range of reactions from news media members. Some expressed shock, others outrage, while many were unsurprised by the verdicts.
